Wayville House

Creating an interesting and dynamic space for a young family was the challenge for this project. The family had lived in the house for several years before renovating, so they had a good understanding of the site and its various characteristics.

Creating a functional, but beautiful kitchen was the key to this house as we often gather around the kitchen.

The kitchen has a hidden pantry area that also conceals the fridge and an appliance cupboard and prep area. A bar sits adjacent the kitchen for entertaining.

The kids study room comes off the kitchen and dining area and also doubles as the music room. This space can be shut off when necessary with full height sliding doors.

The Living space over looks the beautiful new pool and decks and a renovated pool pavilion that once was the garage.

A side entry means guests and family don’t need to enter through the front of the villa which is now the bedrooms and bathrooms.
