Netherby House
Inspired by the mid-century houses in Palm Springs, this house reflects a modern interpretation of that style with the use of in-situ concrete formed walls, steel and exposed timber.
The house is intended to sit comfortably within the streetscape with the use of understated design and materials so as not to dominate or overpower.
Once inside, this house opens to the north facing rear yard with huge expanses of glass sliding doors and windows.
Additional light also floods into the main living space with overhead lantern style windows.
The use of skylights and internal courtyards to the bathrooms allows ultimate privacy, whilst still allowing maximum light.
The Mater suite overlooks the infinity edge pool and beyond to the garden, whilst the Living Area opens onto a large terrace for outdoor entertaining.
